Blue Therapy on Tour @ Rushbanks Campsite

Updated: Jan 3, 2021

On the 21st August the Blue Therapy Community Crew headed to Rushbanks Campsite situated in Suffolk/Essex boarders for a paddle adventure weekend. As we still had Covid restrictions in place but could mix in groups of up to 30 people, it was a very welcome break away from it all and escape.

As we are blue, it meant a blue theme had to come with us! as we headed out on the water for a tour along the River Stour taking Blue Therapy with us...Blue wigs were worn!

We had an amazing paddle during the day swerving around the fallen trees, that fell on the Friday that we arrived due to the strong winds, in-between fields, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, peaceful, just the sound of laughter and nature.

Of an evening the BBQ's and fire Pits were lit, were we ate, drunk, laughed, joked and danced the night away till lights out at 11pm.

At 11pm, all lights and fire pits had to be out and no noise to respect other campers on the site. This was when everyone had their heads up stargazing watching shooting stars and playing guess the constellation.

We loved Rushbanks so much, we rebooked to go back again two weeks later!
